hello! im thinking of taking time machine backups. heres situation though: every couple weeks (sure, not enough) diskimage of macpro files carbon copy cloner on external hdd. way can take external hdd place macbook , have macpro files available in addition having backup. if take using time machine, able extract individual files macpro time machine image when opening macbook (just can dmg carbon copy cloner)? when called att credit check own website recommends clueless. after limping through att rep tried tell me att won't selling iphones on july 11 because "read on internet". proceeded argue me until went att's website while talking , checked himself, unbelievable !   same here except went local at&t store yesterday afternoon "pre-qualify". rep tells me qualification different iphone , won't able until launch day. said pre-qualify me "regular" phone plan , it'd give me "ballpark". asked "then why at&t recommending people pre-qualify before launch day" , of course clueless. told him go employers website , take look. left. i'll try store weekend. can't blame reps in store entirely. at&t has responsibility educate & train staff. have say, makes me little leary of switching current carrier... ...

so here's story. unlocked girlfriend's iphone using original pwnage tool running 1.1.4. fine until..... updated software apple's 2.0 when itunes prompted to. phone no longer unlocked. have tried restoring 1.1.4, using both custom firmware , apple firmware. have tried using pwnage 2.0 make custom 2.0 ipsw , isn't working either. have gotten error (4), (6), , (20) messages when try restore using itunes. have gotten point in pwnage process says not have phone in dfu mode... know have in restore mode, should do? also, when pwning, when in prompts question "are legit iphone user?", mean?   if restored stock ipsw, need re-pwn device before can put custom firmware on phone. also, dfu mode different restore mode. search. legit iphone user question asking if pwnage should patch lockdownd file bypass activation or not. if unlocking, want patched.   ...
