Excluding SSID from Airport pick list

someone in neighborhood has gotten new wireless router, , macbook insists on grabbing network ("default", creative ) every time wakes or boots up. own network never picked without intervention. figure it's gotta 1 of 3 neighbors, gonna go chat them today.

assuming can't find owner , ssid broadcast not turned off*, there way permanently exclude given wireless network macbook's "previously discovered" list? or ssid blacklist? removing network (advanced) pref pane airport doesn't it.

* - 1 definite plus of not broadcasting ssid: not annoying neighbors ;)

go system prefs -> network , select airport. uncheck "ask join new networks". click on "advanced" button. under airport tab, select networks don't want accessed , hit "-" (minus) button removed. click ok, , apply.
