Data labels in Excel 2008 - help!!


i'm new mac , using office 2008. had nice grasp on excel xp, i'm confused. did chart options go? how, example, put labels on x , y axes? , big question....i can put 1001 shadows , effects on data labels, have no idea how make data labels useful. there way in office '08 label each point text column in same worksheet? (i.e. if i'm graphing columns , b, , there's point (0,3) a2 , b2, have point display "billy" c2). thanks!

need help with itunes 7.7
