Combo drive causing macbook to not boot


i have macbook, real nightmare. working fine until wanted sell (of course). knew combo drive defective due fact couldnt boot it. but, of sudden, makes continuous quick ejecting noise when power on. screen turns on, stays black. no startup chime, nothing. sound. have since changed out drive (no easy task) , still same thing wtf? ideas?
 

i don't think has combo-drive since macbook boot , run if forget connect cable between logic-board , combo drive.

might ram not seated - try taking out , pushing in. other sounds logicboard fault - no chime , fact combo-drive looking disc....

sorry not sound news......

need help with itunes 7.7
