Moving Software Programs to New Hard Drive


i in process of upgrading mac g4. 1 of upgrades installing 500 gig internal hard drive. partitioning drive, alloting 25 gigs os x panther (i need classic mode run of older progams), , 25 gigs os 9.2.2. 1 of other partitions house software programs. question is: can drag software programs current hard drive new one, or have full install program discs?
 

you should think cloning hard drive using partition of new one. way retain whole applications , os x. may need buy external enclosure job if don't have free slot inside mac (i.e. in powerbook or ibook).

copying applications in os x work some: needed installer when installed them first time not work. don't remember if it's possible os 9.

need help with itunes 7.7
