need help with itunes 7.7


hi have downloaded 7.7 onto g5 tower , don't have app store i've got remote thing in prefs know it's not old software downloaded earlier onto g4 powerbook , app store on itunes!
running latest leopard os has got suggestions why is?

panic on if goto prefs can check or uncheck applications box in general settings god knows why unchecked start phew right off spend hard earned £'s on new apps.
