iPhone and ATT craziness - advice needed


ok - here crazy story - little long. i'm looking advise on next.

i've been anxiously awaiting iphone 3g arrival port on verizon number. after apple made announcement verizon razr started die figured i'd port on att (rather sign new verizon contract new phone). got free nokia phone on att. att announced real pricing. have been customer 32 days on release day - late qualify subsidized price. planned on porting verizon within 30 days att after release. in case called att customer service explain situation , said not port , forth - they'll put note in account , authorize subsidized price upgrade since close.

yesterday waited 2 hours (starting @ 6am) @ local att store. when ready purchase said not honor customer service note , on top of claimed not eligible purchase iphone @ price. said have buy @ yet unannounced unsubsidized price they're not selling yet. wtf? left irate. called customer service , possible solution purchase iphone on new line (counts new customer) , swap numbers cancel new line , dismiss termination fee.
after work waited 1.5 hours @ apple iphone on new number. called att swap numbers , tell me difficult , impossible , they'll me in 48-72 hours.

i'm in mess following advice of att customer service. want iphone have original number. can't use new number. have suggestions on how can achieve if tell me can't swap numbers?
 

they can swap numbers. go local corporate store, explain situation (try different store maybe?), takes literally 2 minutes you're asking. @ local mall doing day because of debacle activation/purchasing @ apple store.

need help with itunes 7.7
