AVI movies won't play correctly in Quicktime, or burn correctly in iDVD


suddenly, movies ".avi" extension not play audio in quicktime. have tried these files on different computer , worked there. sound on. if convert file in visualhub, works fine. if burn avi file on dvd dvd playback, still doesn't play sound. maybe if burn file different format, work on dvd. best method (through visualhub) keep same file size , allow still fit on dvd?
 

have tried play movie in vlc?

need help with itunes 7.7
