Installer is Damaged


i trying install itunes 7.7 on g5 imac running tiger. able download app apple.com once try , run installer freezes computer , says installer damaged. , displays "installer unable open package. due install framework's runner executable not having proper ownership and/or permissions."

have repaired permissions , still same thing.

ideas?

the same thing happened me. computer's permissions screwed think , lost installation cd:(

need help with itunes 7.7
