Apple Dock Connector to USB causes nicks in Plastic Housing on 3G


this issue may me being paranoid trying keep new 3g nice , scratch free noticed when using apple dock connector usb syncing or charging little metal fingers on each side of connector seems leave little nicks on each side of plastic housing @ opening of 3g docking port. might got white 3g more visible want make sure not doing wrong. new apple stuff might normal , used using micro usb cable on old cell phone did not have issues this. info appreciated.

need help with itunes 7.7
