rip cd qaulity


whats best format/bitrate rip music cds macbook?

used use mp3/320kbs on pc

there better format? or 320kbs waste of disk space?

320 high quality, not true cd quality in technical sense. true cd quality rip wav or aiff container (an option in itunes) or rip in apple lossless format.

depends on you're listening through. listen through decent hifi kit , have pair of earphones go ipod, , me, there clear difference between 128k , 192k, there between 192k , 256k. however, ears, difference between 256k , 320k negligible, , imo not worth space difference unless had high end kit (as in, several thousand pounds worth of speakers alone, along amps of same calibre). if listening through mediocre stereo , headphones, i'd use 192k or 160k or something.

need help with itunes 7.7
