3G iPhone question


hey everyone,

i'm irish , in states summer. i'm thinking of picking 3g iphone while i'm on here because of strong conversion rate.

buy iphone , use irish sim card in when home? presume still possible? run trouble when go buy in apple store, need activate it?

need help with itunes 7.7
