Hard drive about to fail or something else? Should I be worried?


yesterday woke mbp sleep @ airport, went airport menu find network , got spinning beach ball. tried restarting , got gray screen without apple. took out battery, reset pmu , pram , restarted - same thing, gray screen. restarted again , got dreaded question mark on screen assumed drive had crashed. got on flight , when landed tried again. same thing question mark. afternoon, tried again , booted fine. ran disk utility test install dvd , hardware test, fine. smart status ok...

not sure make of this. working fine now, i'm worried. scenarios, other failed disk, can cause question mark/gray screen @ startup?

taking apple waste of time since it'll appear though alright (and maybe is?) ideas or suggestion else can make sure hd ok?

need help with itunes 7.7
