Centering 4:3 games instead of stretching them


i happy answer mac side or bootcamp side issue widescreen monitor on new imacs. since native resolution 1 of widescreen formats i.e. 1920x1200 instead of 1600x1200, whenever play game supports old 4:3 modes, image stretched. know old dell wide screen there button push put black bars on each side of image keep in prosper aspect ratio don't know if possible on imac, (or imac running windows box).

want proper 4:3 video instead of stretched when game. possible?
 

try changing desktop resolution 4:3 aspect before opening game. have never had 4:3 game stretched on display before on windows nor mac os game specific

need help with itunes 7.7
