Iphone3g and jailbreak


okey have question. @ att store , salesman told me had have data package or phone wouldnt work , need new noniphone. true? mean how can after initial contract if dont want continue data service phone wont work? please tell me lie.

second question. if issue above true , iphone paperweight without data service jailbreak resovle issue ie. jailbreak unlock phone function or jailbreak use nonnative apps?

he wrong. if cancel after 30 days u pay off cancelation fee , keep phone. still work, on at&t though. jailbreak doesnt unlock, have use seperate unlock if want use provider.
