Warcraft 3, Need help hosting!! Please.


i realize there other posts 1 cannot seem answers them. i've been searching online few hours , can't seem figure out how host games on warcraft 3. have linksys router, don't know if problem, , have mac. turned off firewall, still won't work. read simple changing game port 6112 or whatever found on warcraft, can't seem find how change gameport on mac.

please help, not computers , want able host games.

in order host need few things (all of these must completed hosting work):

-you need static ip address
http://www.portforward.com/networking/static-mac10.4.htm
possibily hardest part. read carefully.

-your router needs have port 6112 tcp forwarded
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
find router in list , click warcraft this. please note guide forward ports 6112-6119 - not needed. follow steps , forward port 6112 tcp.

-you need allow warcraft through os x firewall
i'm not on mac atm, shouldn't hard sort out. disable firewall (allow incoming connections) firewall doesn't work warcraft.

-you need make sure warcraft set use port 6112
launch warcraft , go options->gameplay. check game port 6112, if not, adjust is.

can't go more depth i'm @ work. if need more help, feel free ask (possibily post routers model number).

need help with itunes 7.7
