Archiving old DV tapes to new ones without dubbing


i'v completed capturing a few dv tapes fcp , time consuming task, since tapes have many time code breaks , have many more go. don't want sit thru dubbing new tape , capture. question is?

format sd not dv can output tape , use new tape new archived tape.

as long using firewire there no generation loss between copies. so, if captured dv tapes fcp via fw , took captured clips , recorded them new dv tapes via fw both tapes have same image quality.

need help with itunes 7.7
