Hard Drive Problems


i new imac not long ago. use 2 external hard drives it. @ first worked fine. week ago computer have trouble logging out or logging in or shutting down. sit @ blank screen. if unplugged external hard drive fine , finish whatever doing. when hard drive mounts dosent show there files or folders in it. have tried repair in disk utility there error says hard drive cant unmounted. 1 know problem , how fix it. :apple:
 

the same problem happens when try boot ipod connected.

although may total bubkis, think it's because machine trying boot off removable device, whatever may be. total crap though.

need help with itunes 7.7
