"Simple" File Share in OSX Like XP


hi, got me new 2008 mac pro, it's awesome! love it! new osx , cannot seem find guide on net or in forum anywhere, how set "simple" file share folder!

every guide have found talks setting user accounts , setting passwords, not want that!

want set open folder shared folder on home network can access without putting in password! same way xp dose it!

how done in osx!

most simple go system preferences, choose sharing. click "file sharing" box. @ point, public folder , drop box accessible (assuming have not disabled guest account). if login computer using account credentials, can access in home folder (music, movies, documents, etc.). if want allow access other folders other users, click "+" symbol in "shared folders" column (again, in "file sharing" section) , assign can use in next column.
