My Safari won't stay open at all. I click it in my dock, my default apple homepage po


my safari won't stay open @ all. click in dock, default apple homepage pops up, , crashes immediately. reopen , repeats.
i'm using osx.4.11, , newest safari update of 3.1.2.

didn't work, thank much. 65 years old , brother bought me wonderful mac.
self taught , every time this, if doesn't work learn new.

think supposed using safari 3.1.1, seems have disappeared downloads.

put newer 1 on there myself instead of doing updates, , (too late) know shouldn't have done that.

you try repairing permissions:

1. go applications folder
2. double-click on utilities folder
3. open disk utility
4. select partition in column on left
5. click repair permissions button

there's no guarantee permissions problem, repairing permissions can't harm, it's worth shot.

need help with itunes 7.7
