Mac HD Keeps Losing Space...


hi.

i've had macbook 7 months , whilst space has gradually disappeared on time, has got alot worse recently.

mac had 68gb of hd , in last week has been decreasing daily (we're talking 2gb day, no applications, music, pictures etc.. have been downloaded in time).

might not seem huge deal on past month i'd i've lost 6gb on i'm not sure if continues this, surely within months i'll out of free space without using on :confused:

i've restarted several times read hd space can return after restart that's not worked me.

i've cleared internet files thinking of built on time gives me 0.01 gb i'm @ loss.

have ideas?
 

could log files growing @ rapid rate. @ activity monitor , see if "syslogd" process running , chewing cpu. if case, have sort of problem going on. @ console , system logs see going on.

or, having disk corruption file system , information block has bad values. should boot off of installer dvd , run disk utility -> repair disk.

need help with itunes 7.7
