Wildly better auto-brightness with 2.0


"is auto-brightness sensor working?" familiar refrain around these forums.

now, 2.0 firmware, it's visibly different/better. try covering sensor thumb while touch asleep or off. turn on - notice how screen dim. go app or section, uncover sensor, go right home. after second you'll see screen brighten right before eyes.

when coupled noticeably brighter screen under 2.0, it's clear apple has made real changes here. first impression better - different.
 

yup - noticed also. ipod seems checking light levels i've noticed screen brighten , dim while using device. had turn feature off temporarily thought had hardware prob @ first!

need help with itunes 7.7
