okay man... here's deal
i started out local at&t store in hoboken via phone. when heard friday 11:00 had 16gb in white, see writing on wall. never bothered getting in line.
had party going out on hudson in friend's boat , decided hit apple store on 5th. had called paramus , got fix there, did not through @ midnite @ 5th avenue store. decided go anyway. big mistake.
400 people in line back. apple reps talking foreigner ssns , move along , see guy pointing 30 feet behind me start new line there. calling 7:00 line. heard here on line system down , people hurting in interim. saw lots , lots of people acting lost zombies, aimlessly standing , sitting on place. bizarre. jetted immediately.
@ 8:00 , off at&t store in hoboken. employee had said come in morning. opening @ 9:00. got there 30th in line. employees nice. comes out right before opening , says 8gbs 16gbs delivered 5:00 pm day. jetted immediately.
had plugged in gcp apple store in gps. headed garage car. heard little birdy in head no, short hills mall. said ah no man, have gps loaded up. relented. shut off tom tom gps , started short hills mall apple store.
there maybe 10 minutes 10:00 am. under 20 in line. apple employees have act here. manager comes out , says have white 16gbs. i'm great, @ least have them. other employees come out , start speaking folks in line, going on particulars each person. woman ahead of me son. later see in store , she's trying on husband's account. apple employee sees me looking @ when in awaiting mine , says, "she knows better."
okay so ecstatic in line i'm trying not break out in dance. because know drawn out activation in store in due course. start in earnest 10 past 10:00. in twenty minutes later. walk in store right employee. phone set payment , go. took $100 discount 1st iphone , went through without hitch.
in , out in hour!
advice, if have car, on short hills mall relatively early. told manager in front of store had best situation. said should have seen yesterday. left line starting kick in. had gone less 20 @ 9:45 50 when left.
know if folks there after 9ish tomorrow, score fast.

(was in soho store later in day @ accessories. had act there too.) got at&t casemate signature leather case lot. apple isn't carrying reason.
activation slowing things down. have did great job @ short hills mall. giggling running through process. turned out didn't need sim first iphone either.
