Installing OS X 10.4 on Power Mac G4


i trying install osx 10.4 on power mac g4 (450mhz)
512mb ram
80g hdd
dvd rom

hangs after displaying drives (hdd aand dvd) on 'options' screen. hangs @ silver apple when booting dvd ('c' on boot).

have cleared pram (apple + option + p + r)
cleared nvram (apple + option + o + f)

doing incorrectly?

btw... have 9.2 on hdd now... boots drive no problem. osx 10.4 disk shows when insert on os 9.2... not boot (i have tried several different coppies of same disks... dvds 4 cd set... no luck)
 



seems tricky problem, not common. question: when go options, take trying clean install? t or f?

need help with itunes 7.7
