Apple's Earnings Results to Focus on Mac (and iPod)

bloomberg reports apple's earnings report later today focus on mac , ipod sales make 75% of company's revenue. despite prominent iphone 3g launch last week, sales fall outside reporting window today's earnings. in addition, supplies of iphones sold during past quarter not reported upon until next quarter:
so, iphone-weary readers may spared extensive iphone coverage during today's financial results. despite extensive media focus on iphone, 1 portfolio manager clarifies "the mac primary reason [they] own apple shares". cites accelerated growth in apple's pc business on past few years.

apple predicted have experienced 36% growth year-over-year last year's revenue , webcasting official financial results @ 2pm pt/ 5pm et on monday, july 21st.
