when transferring a number: anyone know how phone company internals work?


hey guys , gals.
i'm transferring number sprint at&t friday morning i'm wondering. when transfer, sprint know account details at&t's side? i.e. sprint know name of account on at&t requested phone # or rather anonymous request? (i know need account # , pin/pw)

i'm asking because got out of sprint contract in rather dubious manner. :d

the person can request transfer of service person signed up... going know leaving , going at&t. knows if going care.

however, if have killed sprint service (by getting out of contract) you've lost number. sprint service has active port.

need help with itunes 7.7
