OSX Woe: Blue Screen, no safe mode, and questions


alright then. share mac all-in-one in household, bad issue. our leopard bootcamp has had fair few incidents since purchasing it, not interested in relenting on one. know if, mac these given symptoms, can potentially fixed without reinstall. apologies if has been covered numerous times, seems information offered therein have not been able help.

morning when had logged onto mac, installer option popped up. bit blurry-minded, , morning, accepted installation. upon bit of churning, computer restarted , started of symptoms below:

computer goes past apple load , blue screen, stops.
computer not load in safe mode
computer load in single mode, not verbose mode.
computer accept dvd-booting osx 10.5 installation dvd.
running disk repair utility on installation dvd fixed nothing, , reported drive being fine.
running permissions on dvd locked up.

not skilled in jargon, , sorry if not making great of sense, bit hectic. there way fix without harddrive wipe, i've had several times in past already. know reading on several topics on course of today installer, cannot start in safe mode, not of fixes. have ruined mac again? haven't tried everything, , have time things. achive , install seems method having fix things, through reading have not been sure if things going have burned beforehand or not.
