What if I "loose" my iPhone 3G?


if went , got iphone 3g, , called next day , said i'd lost phone and wanted cancel contract, they'd let me pay $70 on first bill , $175 etf fee , end it, right? or force me wait until after 30 day period? if so, i'm planning on getting iphone , "losing" it. (and "finding" contract ends.)

new iphone - $199
activation fee - $36
first month - $70
termination fee - $175
total (w/o tax) - $480

assuming didn't end paying 2 months of service, looks cheaper buying $599 iphone 3g. anyway, posting here make sure math ok , possible end contract in first 30 days , keep phone.

need help with itunes 7.7
