audio output with losing internal speaker volume


hi,

want beable use external speaker system via 3.5mm output jack on imac intel 2 duo. still want internal speaker put out sound. there app? intel compatible lets me use internal , external audio @ same time?
 

i think may done on hardware level. besides, using both sets of speakers might worsen sound quality unless they're positioned.

need help with itunes 7.7
