Someone explain SSH tunneling and port forwarding to me?


i stuck in hotel forseable future. unfortunately ports open 22, 80, 443, , 2000. i'd able play warcraft 3 , diablo 2 in order join battle.net games need have port 6112 open.

have access linux box offsite open port 22, 80, 443, , 6112. can route traffic meant port 6112 on local machine (mbp) through ssh tunnel running on port 22 remote machine? think getting confused differences between port forwarding , tunneling. can clarify me.

need help with itunes 7.7
