SIM card question


my wife , both have 1st gen iphones on family talk plan. want upgrade iphone 3g , give mine because glass on hers broken. how go doing this?

simple me going , buying new iphone, activitating new sim @ apple store, taking sim , putting in old iphone , activating on itunes? or have go at&t , have them @ fee?
 

yup have restore old iphone, put in sim , reactivate phone

need help with itunes 7.7
