Why are iPhone 2G owners in line for iPhone 3G on iDay?


i know there's thread on "crazy people waited in line". 1 of them still waiting own first iphone.

maybe, i'm little jealous since had 2 unsuccessful attempts in getting 16gb black. also, irony of having iphone pass time have come in handy while being on line long ;)

question why current iphone 2g owners waiting in line iphone 3g instead of waiting week or when it's easier buying experience?

waiting in line fine, don't see reason critisize it. did too! had crap-phone before made phone calls , had bowling game. it. yes waited, traded in big way!

waiting in line 3g , gps? seem people should have waited week. wouldn't stand in line 4 hours few days early.

need help with itunes 7.7
