Problems with my old iPhone 2G Edge


hello, i'm not sure if has happened else, had updated iphone 2g edge morning fine, downloading 2.0 update afterwards iphone stopped working , gave me screen on phone in shows usb iphone cable being prompted connect itunes , slider says slide emergency. phone dead , can't access anything. has happened else? when connect itunes numerous times, message comes "we not complete itunes store request. network connection timed out." i'm new forums , appreciated. thank time.
 

i have exact problem too. moseyed down apple store, , said "we have no clue, we've seen dozen times today"

need help with itunes 7.7
