Mac os x Leopard 10.5.4 VLC player crashing!!

vlc player keeps crashing on black macbook (penryn). have latest uptade of leopard 10.5.4 , i've tried newest , older versions of vlc. still keeps crashing whenever try watch , appears error message:

tried google , stuff can't find solution problem!

just realised vlc works fine on nvdia cards. both in imac , macbook pro has nvdia graphics cards , vlc runs smooth, on gf's macbook has intels intergrated graphics , vlc won't work.
