update to new on friends computer


i going away computer next few weeks , won't have accsess laptop able log onto itunes accout on friends computer , update new software without erasing of music , information.
 

i think method work:
  • log out of friends itunes account, log itunes account (on friends computer, on july 11th, itunes 7.7)
  • download 2.0 software ipod
  • when home computer (your laptop) right click on ipod in devices tab, , click check purchases, should put 2.0 update on computer.
i think work if had same os though.
ie mac , mac, windows , windows.

need help with itunes 7.7
