Salary Negotiation


i interviewing new job. want it- les stress, more creative, great environment. however, haven't broached salary issue. make decent salary overtime. when calculated earnings 1 year average overtime, i'm not new position pay equivalent amount. apparently work lot of overtime!

how bring issue of base salary vs. earn? if can't match there way negotiate other agreement? bad if make more offer? *note don't know can offer, start-up i'm assuming, in economy, less*
 

i know sounds silly, have given thought value of new job in terms of -- less stress, more creative, better environment? maybe worth being paid equal to, or little less than, current job?

ask overtime policies, wouldn't go beyond in job interview. if , when make formal offer, consider compensation package while making decision.
