Quick iPhone registering question


i sold original iphone friend went , activated number.

however, when try , download app store itunes account pops , asks them information itunes log in...

how fix this?
 

is there anyway can fix this?

phone used myself , before sent them phone upgraded version 2.0 , chose restore phone "settings>general" tabs.. phone took 45 minutes clear data.

did activate phone number through itunes, when used app store message popped asking itunes login information, not theres..

can of assistance?

need help with itunes 7.7
