Turning off iPhoto sync


i charge iphone plugging mac, closest usb or power outlet top of desk. when plug in, mac wakes sleep, runs iphoto , wants sync. can tell me how stop this?

on similar note, seem confused syncing photos. have itunes set not sync, said, iphoto keeps wanting sync anyway. misunderstanding how supposed work? perhaps in "photo role" syncs until put other place in iphoto?

i don't think can stop iphoto syncing when plug in iphone. find annoying well.

need help with itunes 7.7
