Things to check when buying used computers


hi, i'm new here wanted ask help. i'm going buy first mac, , debating waiting new macbooks or buying used 2.16 ghz mbp. seller says it's in condition, gave me serial number , checks out, , has cds, etc, if go meet him, else should check besides obvious physical signs of wear on computer? input appreciated ive never done before. oh, , in addition mbp 2007, out of 1 year warranty, , doesn't have apple care, says never had problems. worth it, if should checking, or should wait macbooks? (i don't need pro, i'm getting deal)
 

how want it? applecare pretty important, if you're buying random person. if want buy make sure check battery cycles.

need help with itunes 7.7
