External HDD --> iMac -->Wireless N -->ATV = Cannot watch movies happily :(


i asked question in thread guess thread big need bit specific. did search forum , tried comments (changing router wireless n or g , etc.) nothing seems work :(

here problems..

have appletv connects wirelessly imac external harddisk (usb 2.0 750gb).. appletv hacked patchstick , got atvfiles , nitotv.. far see or of people in topic use thier itunes play movies didn't know until read forum can tell itunes detect avi movies using programmes.

anyway, @ meantime use atvfiles play movies perien installed in appletv.

when stream movies appletv never goes smoothly, freeze once in while, dont know whether router problem or imac problem, or appletv problem....

have seen people have same problems no solution !!! try change router wireless n think have dont , nothing has changed.

connected through wireless router imac , appletv. please me on problem, cannot take when watch movie , stops 30 second every 15 or 20 mins !!!
 

it sounds me though hard drive going sleep - perhaps try streaming 1 directly off imac drive , see if helps.

need help with itunes 7.7
