Leopard Installation... (Again)....*MacBook*

okay.. started after changing network settings , froze on me.. so, of course held down power button restart mac.. when booted up, showed 3 things @ same time.. apple icon, folder question mark, , cancel icon (circle line diagnolly). looked on over google find soultion , found 2 things.. 1.) harddrive. ($500+). 2.) install leopard again..

no-brainer of did, reinstalled leopard. went throuh off steps , installed. (this when gets ugly). showed "please restart" button. clicked it.. booted up.. , there is apple logo spinning wheel. let continue don't know, hour. came back, , it's still there.. thought maybe it's because disk still stuck in there. looked in forums , came across hold mouse button during start-up" soultion. , worked. tried booting without install dvd. same-thing-happened! , don't care if means formatting hard drive because i'm fine that.. want mac working again!!

please help!
