Will we be able to tether the iPhone 3G?

have 3g usb internet thing at&t use mba when can't internet access. signed week ago , have till 20th of month cancel 2yr contract data device $59 monthly limited 5gbs month. think company or at&t develop cable along third party app of sort. mean, i've seen people blackberrys, razors etc. else have thoughts on matter?
 

legally, iphone doesn't tether. however, unlocking/jailbraking/3rd party applications may allow this, , infact believe works 1st generation iphone. but, violate contract , t&cs of at&t , apple, don't condone it, , i'd avoid doing - best sort of pay go usb 3g stick?

however, i've never used iphone, i've heard many people prefer iphone browsing computer browsing, it's personal preference.

need help with itunes 7.7
