Doing an recordName system


currently, trying recordname system, used recording names , check number of males , females using application.

have button user touch, , upon touched, trigger function.
function send name of user getting using uidevice class.
send server, record name in system , send message user iphone informing him/her whether name has been sent successfully, or process had failed.

trying figure how go doing 4 days, , have no answers...

wanted use http protocol it, have no idea how send iphone personal information name server , reply it. appreciated, stressed out because this. have totally no idea http protocol, kind of new it, , using proves more problem, have no choice.

there out there doing similar applications? have been looking in sample codes doesn't seems help...

oh yea, server still not ready yet...
