Unable to share files between Macs


i have macpro , macbook. both updated latest version of leopard. both computers have same account name , password but, of course--separate--since on different computers. enabled file sharing under sharing preference in system preferences. on other computer can see shared computer's name in finder. when try view shared files, finder hangs without ever opening folders. click connect as, yet no dialog appears me enter anything. same scenario happens on both computers.

suggestions?

i figured out. had firewall set allow essential services. changed set access specific services , applications file sharing (afp) set , functions fine.

need help with itunes 7.7
