Going to England with first gen iPhone (with 2.0)


hey guys. read stickys above, wanted ask quick question.


i'm going england in 2 weeks. phone *used* use original iphone, upgraded firmware 2.0 thorugh itunes 7.7.

instead of enabling new iphone 3g overseas service (as it's bloody expensive) i'd take old iphone, not brick. repeat, it's not bricked activated , took sim card off.

i'm not interested in installing 3rd party application outside of stuff appstore, need accept t-mobile uk sim card. possible, how should this? if isn't, able in next week week , half or so?

also, additional question. if prepaid sim card has data usage on it, there special settings need enable data transfer or work out once pop sim in?

need help with itunes 7.7
