Connecting Set-top Box, DVD Recorder and TV Set-Help!!!


right, mega karma can me sort bastard out.

situation used (in uk):

aerial / dish connected uk set-top box via rf cable. set top box connected dvd-recorder scart, dvd-r connected tv via second scart. basically, daisy-chained.

never paid attention how connected, seemed 'just work'.

watch telly. fine. turn on dvd-r, tv switch automatically vd channel, show dvd splash screen. watch dvd. fine. turn dvd disc off, can see tv picture. dvd-r 'seeing' tv signal, allowing me record tv dvd. turn dvd-r box off, switches tv channel.

that's how used work.

think can replicate situation here in germany? can ****.

i've got on of german stb rf in, 2 scarts, 1 labelled tv, other vcr.

on of dvd-r i've got 2 scarts, labelled euro av1, euro av2

on of telly, 2 scarts, av1 , av2

how connect lot give me situation described above? seems i've tried every possible combination. closest got switching automatically tv dvd-r when latter switched on. no tv picture when dvd-r on, no disc playing.

tour de france starts today, , want record mountain stages... :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
