Managing your iTunes library on a laptop


i have 250gb drive in mbp , see free space getting lower every week. between programs, itunes, aperture, etc, space dwindling fast. of things taking space, itunes feel need find alternate solution for.

question: how manage itunes library(s) on laptop. have multiple libraries on external drives, in "cloud", other? share laptop itunes management tips. if have 1 itunes library , it's on local hdd, you're not going able answer questions. i'm looking creative solutions managing itunes library(s) on laptops. help!
 

my music library on 150gb (over 30,000 songs). have divided part on 200gb mbp hard drive, , part on external 200gb drive. part keep on mbp want have if travel , don't want carry external drive. part on external drive, deselected "copy files itunes music folder when adding library" under itunes > preferences > advanced > general, leaving music on external drive , having itunes use not make copy.

need help with itunes 7.7
