iPod touch sound level quiet?


in listening touch through car's tape deck adapter, i've noticed volume coming touch quieter nano. such, have turn car radio volume up, produces more "hiss." else notice this? when i've got touch volume turned as possible without distorting, notice it's quieter nano. i've checked settings, , volume limiter off.
 

i'd hear feedback since i'm trying decide new mp3 player get, , use same setup in car.
