it's been while since i've been using µtorrent through crossover on mac, , have come notice annoying. (let me mention first use "pre-allocate files" on µtorrent.) whenever right click on torrent in µtorrent , choose "remove , delete .torrent + data", torrent disappears µtorrent, , whichever folder .torrent downloading goes away (not found in mac recycle bin, mind you), 1 small detail: free space on hdd (actually, macintosh hd, since have set default download folder µtorrent on mac desktop) remains same, if torrent folder never left. @ first thought might need exit µtorrent, or crossover too, before disk space reclaimed, then, no difference @ all. restarted mac, still nothing. so, question quess is:
how come disk space supposedly occupied, , how can back?
mind you, have been using "remove , delete .torrent + data" quite too, , have been wandering how start-up disk got "nearly full" when ever did try , clean useless files up.. means there must considerable ammount of gigas being falsely occupied on macintosh hd. thought uninstalling µtorrent or crossover might remove whatever files used, again thought might not want risk since if remove them there might not way tracing root of problem..
1 other question that's been bothering me this:
if save file on "windows" desktop in crossover (through windows application apparently), on macintosh hd?
(because, apparently, it's not "virtual" since can recall file time in supposed location saved it, through same windows app.)
thank in advance.
have considered using os x torrent application? quite pleased transmission.
