UIToolbar and UINavigationController


hello,

far can see, apple has provided no easy way integrate uitoolbar @ bottom of screen. opposed uitabbarcontroller easy place on bottom of screen , have tied view controllers, uitoolbar normal view uibutton or uiswitch. thus, must manually placed @ bottom of screen placing on uiview in view hierarchy.

not hard, messy. , gets worse when coupled uinavigationcontroller. have 3 levels of drilling in: categories, items, , item details. toolbar should remain stationary when transitioning categories items, should slide away items when transitioning items item details.

believe mail used (hiding toolbar on accounts page) prior 2.0. know of third-party apps (things). implementation can come serious kludges.

here have advice keeping code , nibs clean , kludge-free possible? think apps out there functionality more simple kludges?

need help with itunes 7.7
